Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates from November to the end of project, for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Researcher contract position to work within the Ryan Institute at the National University of Ireland Galway in collaboration with project partners at the University of Limerick. This project is supported by funds provided under the Irish Food Institutional Research Measure (FIRM) by the Marine Institute and the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (DAFM) and contributes to the Marine Functional Foods Initiative (NutraMara), the Irish collaborative research programme for the development of marine-based functional foods (www.nutramara.ie). This position requires an experienced scientist with demonstrated expertise in seaweed ecophysiology and biochemistry.
